SENIOR DIRECTOR OF DATABASE MARKETING SOLUTIONS

Lending Science DM is a leader in scientifically driven marketing and risk management solutions for the financial and insurance industries in the US and abroad. We help clients acquire new customers, optimize marketing and risk metrics, and maximize profitability. Lending Science is seeking a Senior Director of Database Marketing Solutions with experience in the financial services or insurance industry. This candidate must be a critical thinker, detail-oriented problem solver with great communication skills.  

Director will be expected to lead with the following responsibilities:

  • Work with client teams to develop and optimize marketing strategy criteria and selection methodology to support direct marketing or trigger-based campaigns. Directing support of this effort includes defining the analytical and modeling needs to build the technical infrastructure to support campaign execution and optimization.  
  • Oversee, and execute as needed, analytical projects as it relates to marketing model or strategy development.  
  • Assist in development, training and mentor of analytic resources. 
  • Provide technical sales support for new clients inclusive of creating proposals and contract agreements. 
  • Own, manage and grow existing client relationships through cross-sell and upsell. 
  • Translate business questions and concerns into specific quantitative questions that can be answered with data using methodologies. In cases where questions cannot be answered with available data, work with analysts to identify and produce the required data. 
  • Retrieve, analyze, summarize, and present critical data in a format that is immediately useful to answering specific questions or improving system performance. 
  • Provide requirements to develop analytic capabilities, platforms, and pipelines  
  • Participate in the design and review of client specific and generic models. 
  • Synthesize analytic and campaign results in order to share insights and recommendations in both written and verbal formats to audiences of varying levels of technical sophistication.

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Master’s degree in a quantitative field (mathematics, statistics, economics, operations research, etc.) and 8+ years’ experience; or Bachelors in a quantitative field with 12+ years’ experience 
  • Advanced understanding of languages such as SAS (preferred), R, Python, Matlab, and/or C++ 
  • Proficient with SQL and Tableau 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of banking and financial service products, especially under-served/sub-prime market, and/or insurance products 
  • Experience managing and training analytic teams 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
  • Detail oriented 
  • Proven ability to multi-task

SENIOR DATA ANALYST

Leader in Financial Services and Insurance Marketing and Analytics is seeking a Senior Analyst in the financial services industry. This candidate must be a fast learner, dependable, energetic team player with a positive attitude. In addition, they must be able to multitask, problem solve, and have a keen eye for detail.

The Senior Data Analyst will have the following responsibilities and duties: 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Marketing campaign analysis to understand appropriate selection criteria.
  • Overseeing campaign target criteria, counts and list pull specifications.
  • Ensuring timely delivery of lists in support of tactical and strategic marketing campaign initiatives.
  • Reviewing files and documenting all marketing campaign materials, including creative, segmentation and test plans
  • Producing or reviewing ongoing client reporting packages for models, campaigns, or strategy and providing summarization of results and recommendations.
  • Analytics and modeling to support both marketing and risk initiatives.
  • Identifying process standardization and efficiencies within analytical and marketing production processes.

DUTIES:

  • Ensuring accuracy of data utilized in campaign selection and reporting
  • Data selection and fulfillment of marketing orders for customers.
  • Campaign performance reporting across various marketing channels.
  • Maintaining documentation and data from previous campaigns.
  • Performing analytics, modeling and segmentation as it relates to marketing and risk management model or strategy development.
  • Completing project and model documentation as required.
  • Supporting automation and standardization efforts.

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Bachelors degree in a quantitative field (i.e Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Economics, or a related discipline); Masters degree preferred
  • Minimum of two (2) years prior marketing processing or analytic processing experience; Financial service or insurance experience is preferred
  • Proficient in statistical programming package such as SAS, SPSS, R, Matlab
  • Experience with SQL and Tableau
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proven ability to multitask
